1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the DBTPPA Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 15 years of age
• Be a graduate or former student of Don Bosco Tarlac
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not have been previously banned or removed from the platform

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to verify your affiliation with Don Bosco Tarlac at any time.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Ensuring that your account information is accurate and up-to-date
• Logging out of your account after each session

4. User Conduct

As a member of the DBTPPA community, you agree to:

• Treat all members with respect and courtesy
• Not post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Not harass, bully, or discriminate against other members
• Not use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Not upload viruses or malicious code
• Not attempt to access accounts, systems, or networks without authorization
• Not use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Services
• Respect intellectual property rights of others

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conduct guidelines.

5. Rewards & Points System

Our rewards and loyalty points system is governed by the following:

• Points are earned through qualifying transactions at partner establishments
• Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash
• Points may expire after 12 months of account inactivity
• We reserve the right to modify point values and redemption options
• Point transfers between accounts are allowed subject to limits
• Points cannot be purchased or sold
• Fraudulent earning of points will result in forfeiture and account suspension
• Points earned are non-transferable upon account termination

6. Business Partners & Establishments

Registered businesses on our platform agree to:

• Honor points and rewards as advertised
• Provide accurate product and pricing information
• Maintain valid business permits and registrations
• Not engage in deceptive or unfair trade practices
• Protect customer data in accordance with our privacy standards

DBTPPA is not liable for disputes between members and business partners. However, we encourage reporting of any issues for investigation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the DBTPPA platform, including but not limited to:

• Text, graphics, logos, and images
• Software code and database design
• Trademarks and service marks
• User interface and design elements

Are the property of Don Bosco Tarlac Past Pupils Association or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended period of inactivity (24 months or more)
• At your request

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Any points or rewards remaining in your account may be forfeited.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Availability or uptime of the Services
• Accuracy of information provided

We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Don Bosco Tarlac Past Pupils Association, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Cost of procurement of substitute services
• Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tarlac City, Philippines.
